Hello Jessica Thanks so much for your question regarding the Silver fern comb. I can confirm that this piece is made with Rhodium plated brass base metal. Rhodium is part of the platium precious metal family and gives a shiny, non-tarnish finish. The comb is then hand finished with Swarovski crystals.
