I have checked with the designer and this is her response for your reference: All our gold pieces are gold filled, this means a very thin layer of gold (or rose gold) is pressure bonded to the base metal. It’s harder wearing than plating. I can plate onto sterling silver, but this would be an added cost. Hope this helps, but if you need any further information, please don't hesitate to let us know!
