Hi Julia These come as standard with a shiny silver, rhodium plated finish (non-tarnish) and this is as they appear on the images. However, it is also possible to have them custom made to order with a matt or shiny gold finish and these would have a lead time of approximately 4-6 weeks. There is an additional charge of around £50 for the gold finish, but would need to be properly quoted if this was of interest. Hi Hayle, Thanks so much for your enquiry. The Bocheron pearl earrings are Rhodium plated, but not over silver. The base metal will be either pewter or brass, depending on the piece - and all earring posts are surgical steel and non-hypoallergenic (NB: earring posts are not Rhodium plated). The Pandora pieces are made with freshwater pearls which tend to be a cooler, paler ivory/off white and we would recommend the white Bocheron pearl earrings to tone with them the best. Hi Steph Absolutely, the Bocheron pearl drop earrings work beautifully with both the Silk bracelet and the Silk pearl bracelet. The crystal shapes (marquise/pear-cut crystals) are a great complement to each other. In the case of the Silk pearl bracelet, the pearls are a great colour match too. With regard to the nickel content, I have checked with the designers and would like to share their comments as follows: "We strive to ensure all our earrings are hypoallergenic and the posts are made from surgical steel. With regard to nickel content, we are below the legal requirements and compliant to the best of our knowledge. I’m afraid we cannot test every piece individually and the nature of costume jewellery means there will be a metal mix. We would suggest, if there is a strong nickel allergy, to advise she only buys fine jewellery and avoids any costume jewellery to be on the safe side." However, I would definitely advise the 'white' pearl version of the earrings, which are a cool ivory/soft off-white, as these are a much better match with the natural freshwater pearls used on the headband.
