At first I wondered if all the crystals were Swarowski as some appeared to be more firey than others but I think this is because some of them are pear cut. The comb has the sparkle I expected and wanted from Swarowski crystals. I intend to wear this comb in my hair after I remove my veil on my wedding day. Having tried it with my chignon hair style, I noticed the decorative row of crystals seem to lean away from my head, thus creating a gap between my head and the row of crystals which I didn't like. However, I discovered this is easily remedied by simply inverting the comb and sliding the teeth upwards as opposed to downwards inside the hair chignon roll. I thought the length of the metal teeth could be slightly longer for added security. While the crystals are not overly heavy, I would have felt happier more length in the teeth to really secure it into the hair style but I think once secured snugly in the hair, it should be fine. It is a beautiful comb and one I can use after the wedding.
