We’re absolutely thrilled to bits to launch two exclusive vintage-led collections by accessories designer, Victoria Fergusson. The beautifully handmade accessories in our ‘Love’ and ‘Forever’ collections are a gorgeous complement to a vintage bridal look. Using only the finest sparkling Swarovski crystal gemstones and delicate freshwater pearls in stunning romantic designs, we think these are very special accessories indeed... 
 

Vintage styling to love forever

Speaking to us about her gorgeous new designs, Victoria tells us that she drew influence from the classic tiara designs of Garrard, Cartier, Chaumet and Tiffany & Co, taking inspiration from their use of intricate patterns and combinations of gemstones.

Traditionally, the choice of gemstones in jewellery had great significance, with pearls meaning ‘love’ and diamonds meaning ‘forever’. Although the diamonds have been swapped with Swarovski crystal in Victoria’s exclusive designs, the attention to detail and the intricate patterns remain.

'Love'

For a romantic vintage feel, the pretty pattern, soft silver colour, freshwater pearl and hint of sand opal in the ‘Love’ collection make gorgeous finishing touches to feminine lace gowns.

'Forever'

In the ‘Forever’ collection, the antique-effect filigrees combined with sparkling gems are evocative of vintage glamour. Any of the pieces would make for beautiful focal detail when teamed with the simplest of gowns. 

Styling these vintage inspired accessories

With the choice of a headdress and two sizes of hair comb in each collection, there is something to suit every hairstyle. If you’re wearing your hair short or long and loose, then the side detail headdress is perfect. The pretty detail sits comfortably and securely on either side of the head and the ribbon wrapped band disappears into the hair – it couldn’t be easier to wear. The headdresses also work beautifully in an up-do when you want the detail to feature at the front.

For brides who what decoration at the back of an up ‘do, or further to the side then the hair combs are the right choice. Their versatility means you can place them exactly where you want according to your hairstyle. The small combs are lightweight and this makes them a particularly good choice if you have fine hair.
